Chapultepec Castle-Mexico City
This castle has been used
for numerous functions over the last three hundred years.
In the early
20th century it was home to Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg until he
was executed. For a while it was an army barrack and later the President's
official residence. Nowadays the castle is the Mexican
History Museum and also houses an art museum as well.
