Thank you for your interest in GlobalGayz.com sponsorship opportunities. The funds we raise through sales of this advertising support our overall mission, which is to support gay rights and gay rights organizations around the world.
 
We have two basic types of advertising on GlobalGayz.com:
 
1) "Banner Ads" that run in the top right corner, sidebar, and footer on all the advertising-sponsored pages for a given country or countries, continent or continents, or site-wide.
 
and
 
2) "Enhanced Listings" pages on our stories, photo galleries and Gay Travel Agents and Tours Directory.
 
Advertising is sold by the month. Prepaid annual contracts get two months free, and lock in their rate for a full year.
 
Current advertising rates are based on historical site-wide traffic rates of 100,000 visitors per month. Our previous statistics package on the old site was Urchin, but we have switched to Google Analytics for the new site and will regularly publish results in this space going forward. 
 
We reserve the right to increase our rates at any time should these traffic numbers increase and/or the total number of advertising-sponsored pages on the site increases. We anticipate that this will happen regularly due to our recent complete redesign and search engine optimization efforts, along with our continuing expansion of the site with new content as we travel the world. Prepayment of annual contracts not only gives you two months free, but protects you from rate increases for the length of the contract, no matter how high the traffic numbers get. In the unlikely event that the verifiable visitor count falls below an average of 100,000 per paid month on an annual advertising contract, banner ads will be extended for however long is required until the half-million-site-visitor threshold has been crossed.
