Uganda 2008 - Murchison Falls National Park

This huge wilderness /animal park in the northwest of Uganda is the largest in the country.
It surrounds the impressive Murchison Falls on the Victoria branch of the Nile River.
Once dense with wildlife, poachers and soldiers reduced the populations drastically.
But today the herds are recovering and the variety is evident.
