Lake
Bunyonyi Pigmy villagers
dancing for tourists.
These people came from Rwanda duing the genocide years
there and settled in a small enclave where they still live.
The local Ugandan
villagers and farmers have little to do with these two dozen remaining
pigmies.
An European donated a small school for them on their meager parcel of land
but they remain very poor, living off tourist donations.
Their hygeine is is not good and the consumption of alcohol is high.
There
is a bamboo shack (bar) nearby owned by Ugandans that sells the alcohol to
them.
