The following
ten photos are of a pygmy village on the slopes of Lake Bunyonyi.
Originally
from Rwanda, they escaped
the genocide wars of the 90's and settled in Bunyonyi and choose not to
return.
They
are a small community living on a small plot of land with little connection
to the local villagers.
They mostly support themselves as a tourist attraction; when
visitors arrive they sing and dance with gusto
and are usually rewarded
with tourist 'dollars'.
