The Karnak
Temple Complex describes a vast assembly of ruined temples, chapels,
pylons and other buildings.
It is located 2.5km north of Luxor in Egypt.
This was Ancient Egypt's main
place of worship started in the Eighteenth
Dynasty (1550-1292 BC)
and is the largest ancient religious site in
the world.
